Strictly fans 'devastated' as Halloween Week exit leaked

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have been left disappointed after learning who left the competition during Halloween Week. The BBC programme returned to screens on Saturday, October 31, with its spooky spectacular.

The remaining couples performed in hopes of impressing judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke. Lacey Turner and Vito Coppola topped the leaderboard, earning 36 points from the judges.

Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita, along with Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley, finished at the bottom of the rankings with 25 points each. Following Saturday's episode, spoilers leaked online about the three-way dance-off and its results, which are pre-recorded ahead of Sunday's broadcast.

Fan Reactions to the Exit

While Wales Online has chosen not to report the results, many fans have expressed frustration over the exit. One person wrote on X: "Ridiculous choice." Another added: "So so sad." A third said: "Really surprised!!"

Someone else commented: "Absolutely devastated [broken heart emoji]." A fifth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: "Oh god no lost a fave of mine, wasn't expecting that." The disappointment continued, as another wrote: "I'm so so so gutted, loved [them] but I knew it was coming." Another added: "Absolutely the wrong decision."

First-Ever Triple Dance-Off

This week's results show will make Strictly history with the first-ever triple dance-off. The three couples with the lowest combined scores from the judges and the public votes will go head-to-head, before the judges have their say. Instead of voting for who they want to save, each judge will reveal which couple they want to be eliminated.

The professionals will perform a Halloween group routine to Dracula by Tame Impala. The routine opens at a drive-in movie theatre, where Alexis Warr and Nikita Kuzmin are on a first date. It soon takes a terrifying turn when it's revealed that Nikita is a vampire.

Shirley Ballas Criticism

The dance will feature a vocal cameo from Sir Ian McKellen, who has specially recorded an extract of Bram Stoker's Dracula to be heard at the end of the routine.

During Saturday night's live show, viewers were notably frustrated by judge Shirley Ballas's comments to the celebrities. Shirley critiqued Delta Goodrem's Viennese Waltz, as well as Tabby's Quickstep, which she scored a five. One person fumed on X: "Is Shirley ok tonight? Giving Tabby a 5 for that dance. It was clearly way better than a 5. She needs to get out of her mood, ruining the vibe of the show."

Another added: "A FIVE?! Shirley, I am stealing that five paddle from you. IT'S BEEN OUT TOO MUCH, AND IT'S UNFAIR EVERY TIME." Strictly Come Dancing is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
