Stacey Solomon admits 'we're getting through it' as Joe says 'everything's changed'

Stacey Solomon appeared emotional as she discussed her marriage to Joe Swash in the trailer for the new series of their BBC One show Stacey & Joe.

The 37-year-old Sort Your Life Out host and 44-year-old former EastEnders actor are returning to screens on Tuesday, November 10, with the third series of their fly-on-the-wall reality show, offering fans another look inside their busy family life. The couple, who share three children together and three from previous relationships, first invited viewers into their Essex family home on the show, which aired in 2025.

New Series Trailer Highlights Emotional Moments

In a new trailer for the upcoming third edition, Joe exclaims: "Everything's changed!" as he sits alongside Stacey on a sofa, before launching into an update on his lake. In another scene, Stacey bares a more serious expression as she admits to the camera: "We are happy, we're good, we are just getting through it", while appearing slightly emotional.

The comment came after she appeared to address speculation about the couple's relationship, which led to Stacey taking a social media break earlier this year. Moments later, Stacey tells the camera: "I've been to places I'd never expect to see photographers," before she can be seen in a tense exchange with paparazzi, adding: "If I'm going somewhere personal, I have a reasonable expectation of privacy."

Family Changes and New Home Plans

The new series will also see Joe finally take the leap towards a long-held dream of opening his own fishing lake and glamping site, as the family also waves goodbye to Pickle Cottage after five years. While sitting on the sofa, Joe surprisingly asks Stacey, "You don't want to move, do you?" as she confirms plans for a new family home, "I'd like to go and see it."

The clip then cuts to the younger children playing as Joe announces, "Shall we go and make some memories in the new house?" Stacey declares, "Bye Pickle Cottage," as the family bids farewell to her former Tudor-style mansion in Essex and moves to a new family home elsewhere.

Couple's Background and New Series Premiere

Former X Factor star Stacey met ex-EastEnders actor Joe in 2010 on the set of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after Stacey won the series. The pair didn't officially begin dating until 2016, and after several years together, Joe got down on one knee during a woodland walk on Christmas Eve in 2020.

Together, they have a large blended family of six children, including their three children together, Rex, Rose, and Belle, alongside Stacey's two sons Zachary and Leighton, and Joe's son Harry from previous relationships. Stacey & Joe series three will premiere on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
