Channel Seven has delivered a scathing public rebuke to former Sunrise host Sam Armytage after she failed to attend this year's Logie Awards, despite being nominated.
The network took a thinly veiled dig at the 47-year-old presenter during their live broadcast, with commentators noting her absence while other stars from the show appeared on stage.

During Sunday night's ceremony, Seven's coverage team pointedly remarked: "All your Sunrise favourites are here tonight... well, almost all of them." The barbed comment was widely interpreted as targeting Armytage, who left the breakfast show in 2021 under controversial circumstances.

This latest incident adds fuel to rumours of ongoing friction between Armytage and her former employers. Sources suggest the relationship soured after her abrupt departure from Sunrise, which she later described as "traumatic" in her memoir.
