The toast of Tinseltown will be at the annual Met Gala tonight. This year's theme is Costume Art and we can't wait to see what our favourite celebrities will be wearing. Soon, Hollywood's biggest stars and iconic designers will reveal jaw-dropping looks, showcasing the artistry of fashion at one of the hottest events in the showbiz calendar.
Ahead of the iconic event in New York, a whole host of stars attended pre-gala parties, with famous faces including newly-engaged Zoe Kravitz and Versace star Donatella Versace, all dressed to impress at Vogue star Anna Wintour's lavish bash in the Big Apple before the main event this evening.
Zoe Kravitz
Zoe, 37, who is rumoured to be making her Met Gala debut with One Direction star Harry Styles, 32, made sure to flash her stunning pear-shaped diamond engagement ring for the paparazzi as she made her way inside the Vogue icon's party. The actress, who is a co-chair of the Met Gala Host Committee, wore a gold silk dress teamed with a fur-trimmed jacket, which she accessorised with a YSL clutch and perspex heels.
Serena Williams
Also attending Ms Wintour's bash on Sunday was tennis ace Serena Williams. The mum-of-two, 44, made sure all eyes were on her in a very revealing red leather dress with a split so high, it showed her bottom. However, Serena oozed confidence as she partied away with her pals, teaming her striking dress with bleached blonde hair and a pair of iconic black Louboutin heels.
Nicole Kidman
Aussie actress Nicole, 58, is a huge fan of the Met Gala and looked effortlessly stylish as she arrived at the pre-party, wearing a floor-length black frock. The Oscar winner, who recently split up from husband Keith Urban, kept her sunglasses on while surrounded by photographers as she made her way in to join Anna's party.
Sabrina Carpenter
Espresso star Sabrina Carpenter, 26, was also dressed in black as she smiled for fans in New York. Wearing a gorgeous off-the-shoulder black lace dress, the diminutive pop star teamed her outfit with her signature blonde hair and a slick of red lipstick. Last year, Sabrina hit all the headlines at the Met Gala when she arrived wearing a tiny leotard and towering platform heels.
Donatella Versace
Versace icon Donatella, 71, looked suitably stylish as she arrived at the party. Wearing a stunning nude dress embellished with crystals, the fashion designer oozed glamour. Donatella, who also attended Jeff Bezos' Met Gala party on Saturday, has been a regular at the iconic event for years and has also dressed a number of stars who have attended.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez
The glittering gala's lead sponsors and honorary co-chairs are Amazon founder and tech billionaire Jeff Bezos, 62, and his wife, Lauren Sanchez Bezos, 56. They arrived for Anna's bash looking suitably groomed, with Lauren wearing a crimson silk blouse with a fitted skirt and towering heels, while Jeff, who has sparked outrage by some anti-Amazon protesters ahead of the gala, kept it simple in a grey linen suit.
