Matt Baker is back on screens in a new episode of Our Barn in the Dales, where he and his wife Nicola attempt to renovate an old barn on his family's farm into a new home. The ambitious plan appears to hit a major setback when they discover the end wall of the main barn needs to be rebuilt. Elsewhere, Matt, Nicola and Matt's mum Janice help a struggling sheep give birth to an unusually large lamb, and Matt and Nicola reveal plans to welcome a new sheepdog puppy to the farm.
Who are Matt Baker's siblings?
Matt Baker has one sister, called Samantha, and two half-sisters, one of whom is called Ruby. Matt and Samantha grew up with their parents, Mike and Janice, on a sheep farm in County Durham, having moved from Easington when Matt was 10.
His early years were spent learning the trade on the farm, which set him in good stead to discuss rural affairs on shows like Countryfile. The seasoned presenter has garnered a huge following, with fans keen to find out more about his family.
Matt Baker's tribute to his sisters and mum
The star named his sisters and his mum as some of the "most inspirational women" in his life, during an interview with Hello!, sharing: "My mum has always been a big inspiration, as were my sisters and now my wife is."
Back in 2021, Matt's wife Nicola opened up about one of Matt's half-sisters, Ruby, who was battling Long Covid. Ruby had been working as a teacher until her health stopped her from working, and she took up art to aid her recovery.

Nicola had said on Instagram: "We're all quite arty in our family - I love making and baking, Matt loves to paint, my mum knits and makes cards. We're all often found doing something creative when we get the chance!
"This was painted by my lovely sister-in-law @revivedbyruby! Ruby was a teacher until she got Covid a year ago and has been coping with long Covid ever since. Painting has really helped her recovery and she loves the challenge of breathing life into something that may otherwise be thrown away."
Ruby started her own online business where she sold her paintings, with Nicola explaining: "She's now started up her own Etsy shop with all her artwork that she paints on salvaged or unwanted items.
"I loved this fungi painting she did on an old book cover so snapped it up straight away - it sits perfectly in my writing room! Sometimes life takes you in an unexpected direction, it's how you adapt to the change that keeps you moving forwards."
