Sinitta has been eliminated from Celebrity MasterChef after a disastrous episode in which she served raw food to judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode on two separate occasions. The singer, known for hits like 'So Macho', became the latest contestant to leave the BBC One cooking competition.
Her departure was described as an 'easy call' by fellow contestant Alexis, who praised Sinitta for taking risks. 'She was the only one of us to cook with the squid. She didn't play it safe. So she went home in a blaze of glory,' he told Express.co.uk.
Alexis advanced to the next stage alongside Tommy Cannon, Marcus Butler and Donna Air. Despite his progress, the 44-year-old remains modest about his abilities, admitting he cooks for his family and has never had a dinner party invitation turned down. 'I know I'm not a MasterChef,' he said.
