Lawrence Robb at risk of missing Strictly final, bookies say

Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb could miss out on making the final of Strictly Come Dancing, according to the latest odds. Each week, a celebrity and their professional partner face elimination from the BBC flagship competition, and the outlook is uncertain for one particular star.

Recent Departures and Title Favourites

Last week, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Alexis Warr became the fourth couple to bid farewell to the ballroom after losing to Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu in the dance-off. Their departure comes after the exits of Chris Appleton, Melanie Walters and Sarah Storey.

Since the series launched, the frontrunner for the title has shifted considerably. Initially, Dani Dyer was tipped to take the crown, before EastEnders actress Lacey Turner emerged as the one to beat.

While Delta Goodrem remains in contention to reach the final, it appears the Glitterball Trophy may elude her, with Tabby Stoecker currently the bookmakers' favourite at odds of 11/8. Lacey Turner is close behind at 7/4, while Delta trails at 5/1.

Bookmakers' Views on the Market

Speaking on the latest markets, Betway's Lewis Knowles said: "Tabby Stoecker was as big as 12/1 to win the show only a few weeks ago, and the Olympian was a relative outsider, but she has really caught the eye over the last few weeks, and has catapulted herself to the head of our outright betting at 11/8. Former favourite Lacey Turner still has a really solid chance of lifting this year's Glitterball Trophy at 7/4, and the market is suggesting it could be a two-horse race this year, with huge prices available for the majority of the other contestants."

With Saturday's Halloween special of Strictly Come Dancing approaching, bookmakers have also been speculating over which celebrity faces the exit door this weekend, with actress Bethany Antonia installed as the 2/1 favourite.

Elimination Odds and Halloween Special

The bookmakers, however, indicate several contestants could face elimination, with Jaime Winstone, Cach Mercer and Lawrence Robb closely positioned behind in Betway's next departure odds, meaning they could all miss out on making the Strictly final and winning the Glitterball Trophy.

Speaking on the latest markets, Betway's Lewis added: "Bethany Antonia may well be the favourite for elimination going into week six of Strictly Come Dancing, but there wouldn't be much between her, Jaime, Cach and Lawrence in the betting, and all four of them will feel they are at risk of elimination this weekend."

Strictly Come Dancing's anticipated Halloween Week will begin at 6.30pm on Saturday, October 31, and will last 2 hours, ending at 8.30pm. Voting will then open ahead of the next elimination. The results show will air at 7.10pm on Sunday, November 1, lasting 50 minutes, where a huge twist is in store. For the first time in Strictly history, the Halloween results show will feature a triple dance-off.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
