HBO's latest DC series, Lanterns, is now streaming, and its cast includes a mix of established stars and notable guest appearances. The show, based on the Green Lantern comics, has drawn praise for its grounded approach and performances.
Leading Roles and Notable Stars
Kyle Chandler plays Hal Jordan, while Aaron Pierre portrays John Stewart. Chandler, with a career spanning 38 years since his 1988 TV debut, is known for Friday Night Lights, Grey's Anatomy, and Bloodline, as well as films like Zero Dark Thirty and The Wolf of Wall Street. Pierre, a 32-year-old British actor, appeared in Prime Suspect 1973, The A Word, and Krypton, and voiced Mufasa in The Lion King prequel.
Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald plays Sheriff Kerry, with past roles in Boardwalk Empire, Line of Duty, and Department Q. Garret Dillahunt appears as William Macon, known for High Potential, Fear the Walking Dead, and Justified. Poorna Jagannathan, who plays his wife, starred in Never Have I Ever and Deli Boys.
