The date and kick-off time for Rangers' home Premier Sports Cup clash with Celtic has been confirmed. The Glasgow giants were drawn together in the last eight after Derek McInnes earned his first win as Light Blues boss against St Mirren on Sunday - 24 hours after Celtic cruised to victory over Dundee United at Tannadice.

The clash will take place on Sunday, September 13 with a 12 noon kick-off and will be shown live on Premier Sports. Celtic's last trip to Ibrox came in the Scottish Cup and it ended in chaos but on that occasion they had a bumper away crowd due to competition rules allowing them to claim up to 20 per cent of the capacity of Ibrox. No such rule exists for the SPFL's League Cup.
Other quarter-finals
Dates and times for the other three last eight encounters have also been released. Shock troops Stenhousemuir, who sent Motherwell crashing out, host Hearts and that tie will kick off the weekend action on Friday, September 11, kick off 7.45pm. Ross County's reward for beating Dunfermline Athletic is a home tie against Hibs. That last eight tie takes place on Saturday, September 12 and Aberdeen's trip to Kilmarnock is on the same day.
