I'm A Celebrity 2026 Rumoured Line-Up: Rooney, Clarkson

Speculation is mounting over the line-up for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, with football legend Wayne Rooney and TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson among the names reportedly in the frame. ITV has released the first look trailer for the new season, which shows hosts Ant and Dec conducting a choir dressed in woolly hats and scarves before being drenched in buckets of offal.

Rumoured Stars and Returning Favourites

Since the show first aired in 2002, it has become a fixture in millions of UK households and a sign that the countdown to Christmas has begun. A fresh batch of celebrity contestants will aim to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner, Angry Ginge, who was crowned King of the Jungle, with Tom Read Wilson as runner-up and Shona McGarty in third place.

Among the rumoured names is Wayne Rooney, who has been heavily linked following his wife Coleen's appearance in the jungle in 2024. Reports suggest he could be the show's biggest signing to date. Former Love Island star Chloe Burrows, who previously attended the University of Liverpool, is reportedly in advanced talks, while ex-Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson is said to be negotiating with ITV.

Potential Firsts and Returns

Paralympic athlete and TV presenter Ade Adepitan MBE could make history as the first wheelchair user to take part in I'm A Celeb. Meanwhile, reality star Olivia Attwood, who was forced to quit the show in 2022 for medical reasons, has previously hinted she would return. Diversity star Perri Kiely, who has been approached for the show before, has hinted he might say yes if asked again.

The official start date for the 2026 series has yet to be confirmed, but it usually begins in mid-November. It is rumoured to return on Monday, November 16 at 9pm, possibly pushed back a day because ITV will show the UEFA National League football match between England and Spain on Sunday, November 15.
