"Her contract was up. There was a decision not to renew," the insider revealed on Thursday, confirming earlier reports about Norman's exit. The departure was first reported by Status the previous day, though ABC News has declined to comment officially on the matter.
Norman began her tenure with ABC in 2016 as a reporter before being promoted to GMA Weekend in 2022.
