EastEnders' Kim Fox has returned to Walford with a dramatic hair transformation, swapping her trademark vibrant red voluminous bob for elegant shoulder-length locks with darker copper tones, and fans are already obsessed.
During Monday's (October 19) episode, Kim (Tameka Empson) and her new husband Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) stepped out of a taxi onto Albert Square, excited to reunite with family after a romantic Caribbean honeymoon following their September wedding. They were greeted by Yolande and Patrick Trueman (Angela Wynter and Rudolph Walker), who appeared taken aback by Kim's stunning new look.
Kim wore a bright orange kimono over a yellow top, and her daughter Pearl was quick to notice the change. "Nice hair, mum, did they do that in St Lucia?" the schoolgirl asked, before Kim flicked her hair and confirmed: "Yeah, the Caribbean Queen has come to Walford," before hurrying inside with her son Mica.
Fans React to Kim's New Hairstyle
EastEnders viewers have wasted no time complimenting Kim on her transformation. One viewer wrote on X: "Kim looks amazing", while a second stated: "Slightly OBSESSED with Kim's new look (love heart)." A third asked: "Is there someone new in the hair and makeup department? Kim has come back looking fabulous, and Sharon's hair looks great too #eastenders."
Fans on Reddit also shared their approval, with one commenting: "She looked beautiful," and another suggesting: "So glad Kim's got a new hairstyle; the red one was getting a tad dated."
Denzel's Blackmail Storyline Continues
Elsewhere in Monday's episode, Denzel (Jaden Ladega) struggled as his blackmailer, Craig Ingram (Matthew James-Bailey), demanded £1,000 in return for not sharing an explicit photo originally sent to Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd).
Growing desperate, Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) attempted to help by stealing money from the Minute Mart, but they were soon caught out by Yolande.
Later, Howie and Kim surprised Denzel with a signet ring to mark his 18th birthday, but he pawned it to raise the money he needed. As Denzel's family and friends gathered to celebrate, Craig secretly watched from afar while Amy stayed close to her ex-boyfriend.
Amy spotted Craig behind a tree and confronted him, but the ex-copper didn't take kindly to her words, and he sent Denzel's photos to Kim and Howie out of jealousy, leaving Denzel and his loved ones horrified. EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One and iPlayer.
