Strictly Fans Hail Delta Goodrem's Rumba as Series-First Perfect 10
Delta Goodrem's Rumba Earns Series-First Perfect 10

Delta Goodrem made a triumphant return to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor on October 24, delivering a Rumba that earned the series' first perfect 10 and unanimous praise from fans and judges alike.

The Australian performer had missed the previous week's episode after suffering a fractured rib, an injury she later disclosed. Despite this setback, she performed with professional partner Kai Widdrington to Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," leaving viewers astonished as their routine marked a series first.

Fans Praise Delta's Comeback Performance

Viewers took to social media to declare the routine the finest of the week's programme, especially after several other contestants made surprising errors, according to Wales Online.

One individual wrote: "I love Delta she is just so humble and she has such a charming quality about her always so grateful. Fave dance of the night for me and I normally don't like the Rumba."

Another contributed: "I can't believe Delta is coming back off an injury and she's only one that didn't make a mistake. She's also had the best dance of the night so far."

Judges Award Series-First Perfect 10

The judging panel of Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke echoed the fans' sentiments. Anton stated: "This is my favourite dance of the series by a million miles. I've got some advice for you moving forward, I would continue to have a rib injury."

Motsi contributed: "This was one of the best Rumbas I've seen." Shirley informed them: "You could say, I loved your Rumba. Well done you."

Ultimately, the pair secured the series' first perfect 10, awarded by Anton. This was promptly followed by two additional perfect scores for Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita from Motsi and Anton once more.
