Corrie fans fear Ross hurt Dorin, not Aled

Coronation Street viewers are convinced that Ross Wilkes, not Aled, is responsible for the bruise on young Dorin's arm, sparking fears of a darker storyline twist.

Dorin, the son of Tyrone Dobbs, told his dad and stepmother Fiz Dobbs that Aled, Fiz's young nephew, had punched him, causing the bruise. His grandfather Ross was furious and urged Tyrone to confront Aled's parents.

Fans Suspect Ross Is Behind the Injury

Some fans believe Dorin may be covering for someone else, questioning whether Aled actually hurt him. Given Ross's misogynistic comments and his push for Tyrone and Dorin to take up boxing, viewers speculated that Ross may have hurt Dorin to frame Aled and provoke Tyrone into action.

One fan said: "Did Ross hurt Dorin and tell him to say Aled done it? I wouldn’t put it past him, that man is a piece of work." Another added: "If anyone’s gonna get Dorin harmed it’s Rancid Ross."

Ross's Influence on Tyrone Raises Concerns

Fans also worried that Ross could turn violent toward Tyrone, with one posting: "He hates Tyrone’s son so trying to hurt him," and another asking: "Ross going to beat up Tyrone?"

Others suggested that a character not currently on the show might return to confront Ross, such as Tyrone's missing mother, Ross's ex Cassie Plummer, or Cassie's mother Evelyn. A fan posted: "Cassie will come back and save the day," while another said: "Bring Evelyn back to get rid of him!!"

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
