After discovering she was pregnant a few days ago, Bethany learned during a doctor's visit that Kit is the father. Her stress mounted as she attended court to hear whether Sarah would be jailed for murder.
Sarah's acquittal and Bethany's decision
Sarah was found not guilty and allowed to return home. As Sarah began planning her future, Bethany booked an appointment at an abortion clinic. However, events took an unexpected turn when Bethany was caught in the middle of a fight between Sarah and Maria Connor, injuring her wrist and forcing a trip to A&E.

Bethany covered her tracks by telling Sarah that Kit slept with Jodie Ramsey. This lie may backfire, as Jodie knows Bethany slept with Kit. If Sarah confronts Jodie believing she is the one who was involved with Kit, Jodie could turn the tables and expose Bethany's secret.
