Channel 4 pulls Four In A Bed week after fixing claims

Channel 4 has pulled a week's worth of Four In A Bed episodes from its streaming platform after a couple were accused of "fixing" the result. The daytime show, which first aired in 2010, sees four different establishments compete to score each other's offerings and pay what they think each room is worth. The programme usually spans five days, with each property featured in an episode and the winner revealed in the final episode.

However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that a week's worth of episodes had been removed, meaning the conclusion was no longer available to watch. The final episode from last week showed one pair refusing to pay anything for any of the three hotels they stayed in. The siblings worked at the property but did not own the business.

Viewers accuse pair of game playing

Fans of the show quickly called out the pair's "game playing," claiming their decision was purely a tactic to win the show. One annoyed viewer said on Facebook: "I won't be watching it again, I watched it all week until Friday. The crew knew on Monday's episode someone hadn't payed. So why punish the viewer?"

Another viewer wrote: "So disappointing I was looking forward to the drama!" And another fumed: "What's the point of watching now?" They added: "It's meant to be light-hearted fun. But if you invest the time to watch all week, then they won't show you the finale - what's the point? And what should we do, wait until all episodes are out before watching?"

Channel 4 responds to backlash

Responding to the backlash, Channel 4 shared a message on X, saying: "We just wanted to let you know that the episodes from last week's #FourInABed are now unavailable, but we are excited that a new week starts this afternoon on #Channel4 at 5pm!"

The bed and breakfast at the centre of the turmoil has confirmed that the duo no longer work at the establishment. Four in a Bed airs weekdays from 5pm on Channel 4.
