The next Faithful to be banished from The Celebrity Traitors has been "confirmed" by fans, after last night's episode ended on a cliffhanger with Kenny holding the deciding double vote.
During the mission, the Faithful voted Maya, James A and Kenny as the most trustworthy, unaware that all three are Traitors. Kenny was then granted the power of a double vote at the tense roundtable, where Joanne McNally struggled to defend herself after stumbling over her words again. Actress Sharon Rooney, who clashed with Michael Sheen during the challenge, appeared to concede, saying she was happy for her co-stars to vote for her.
Roundtable tie and revote
At the roundtable, Sharon and Joanne were tied on four votes each, forcing a revote. As the show ended, Sharon had four votes while Joanne had three, with Kenny's vote to be revealed next week.
Fans have already predicted the outcome. One viewer said: "Bash's 'big dog' theory against Michael at one point was weak sauce. Faithfuls still have no clue. As for the cliffhanger - if it is Sharon, Joanne finally in trouble next time."
A second added: "Sharon will go but then it'll be Joanne next when she says she's a faithful. These faithfuls are useless." A third commented: "Of course they left us on a cliffhanger. Getting Sharon out makes the most sense, as she has more theories, and I reckon Joanne will be voted out shortly after. The finale is next week and tbh the Traitors have this wrapped up."
Viewer predictions and Miranda Hart's exit
Another fan speculated: "What if they vote for Sharon, then kill off Joanne?" A fifth wrote: "I beg Kenny changes his vote to Joanne but think he will stick with Sharon. Joanne did not have a good Round Table & his Traitor mentality will think get rid of Sharon now as Joanne is as good as gone at the next one."
At the start of the episode, Miranda Hart became the fifth star to be murdered. Reflecting on her time, she said: "Ultimately, in my little personal story, this has been quite extraordinary that I've been able to get back and do the thing that I love professionally and do the things that I love personally, like wandering around a Scottish highland and being in nature and laughing and connecting. There were times that I didn't think that would be possible again."
Asked for her proudest achievement, she explained: "I think just getting there and being part of it, full stop. I have missed doing television so much, and it has been a very hard road to get to a place after restricting long-term illness to be fit enough to do something again."
She added: "I think it's a good thing that I wasn't banished because my speech would have ended up being emotional and mushy. I would have told them how precious the connection and the joy and playfulness had been after years of not being able to experience that, knowing that they are the most important things in life."
The Celebrity Traitors continues next Thursday on BBC One and iPlayer.
