The second episode of BBC's Celebrity Traitors airs tonight, Friday, October 2, at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer. It follows the series two debut on October 1, which some viewers were thrown by because it started at 8pm instead of the usual 9pm slot.

Many people tuned in at 9pm to see 21 celebrities running in a Scottish loch shouting at each other and Jerry Hall using a crowbar to uncover a box of Claudia wigs.

When is Celebrity Traitors episode 2 on TV?

Friday, October 2's episode will also start at 8pm, live on BBC One and iPlayer. It will run for one hour when it will be followed by companion show, Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked.

When is it on TV next?

The BBC has dropped the number of episodes to two a week - previous series of the celeb and civilian version aired Wednesday-Friday. This means the series will run for five whole weeks - less episodes per week, but it runs longer.

The next two episodes air:

  • Thursday, October 8 - 8pm-9.05pm
  • Friday, October 9 - 8pm-9.05pm

The TV schedules aren't published in detail beyond October 12, so the following weeks' schedules aren't available. However, Thursday, October 15 will see the show air at 8pm again.

Celebrities competing this season include Richard E. Grant, model Jerry Hall, Maya Jama broadcaster Amol Rajan, actor Bella Ramsey, singer James Blunt, actor Julie Hesmondhalgh, content creator King Kenny and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Six comedians are also taking part – James Acaster, Joanne McNally, Lycett, Miranda Hart, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.
