The BBC has confirmed that the Celebrity Traitors 2026 finale will air on Friday, 30 October at 8pm on BBC One. The episode will be 80 minutes long, making it the longest in the programme's history to date, according to Wales Online.
Following the finale, which ends at 9.20pm, Ed Gamble will host a special 40-minute edition of Uncloaked, bringing the cast together to discuss the events of the series.
Remaining contestants and challenges
Before the final, the remaining celebrities face a challenge at a secret location that will test the Traitors' teamwork. Maya Jama and James Acaster are still in the game as Traitors, having recruited King Kenny after the Faithful exposed Professor Hannah Fry.
The second celebrity series has been turbulent, with original Traitor Richard E Grant giving himself away early by openly admitting his role. The actor later rejected suggestions that he deliberately revealed himself to leave filming early while still receiving his appearance payment.
Addressing the claims on Instagram, he wrote: "I usually wouldn't comment on things like this, but I've been made aware some press outlets are suggesting I 'staged' my Traitors reveal to get out of filming. This is categorically false."
He added: "I'm an avid fan of the show and have been since it first aired. Being picked as a Traitor when I was convinced I'd be a Faithful was an absolute dream and a sheer shock to the system."
Viewer favourites to win
Maya Jama has attracted significant support on X, formerly Twitter, with Paddy McGuinness also naming the Love Island presenter as his pick for victory. Speaking on his BBC Radio 2 show, Paddy suggested her fellow contestants would struggle to suspect her because she is so likeable.
He said: "Folks, hot off the press, Maya Jama is going to win it. That's all I'm saying, I've worked with Maya loads of times over the years and she is so lovely that you'd genuinely go, 'It can't be her! It can't be her!' There you go, get down the bookies."
Fans at home have reached similar conclusions, with one writing: "Maya Jama is going to win The Traitors, she's going totally under the radar." Another said: "Maya is a really good Traitor. Not a single person suspects her and so far she's playing the role of Faithful well."
A third posted: "I must say Maya is ace as this game kinda rooting for her to win!" Another added: "I think Maya can win this as a Traitor on her own."
Whether those predictions prove right will depend on who survives the remaining banishments and makes it to the final. The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One on Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm.
