Strictly Come Dancing viewers spotted Bridgerton actress Hannah Dodd in the live audience during the Halloween Week special on BBC.
As the BBC show opened its Halloween Week special, viewers noticed the actress, best known for her portrayal of Francesca Bridgerton in Netflix's period drama Bridgerton, in the audience to watch the remaining 11 contestants take to the dancefloor.
Fans React on Social Media
Before the performers delivered their spooktacular routines, BBC viewers took to social media to highlight the actress's presence. On X, one viewer wrote: "Was that Hannah Dodd in the audience or are my eyes deceiving me? #Strictly" Another chimed in: "Sorry, did I just see Miss Francesca Bridgerton in the audience?" A third exclaimed: "WAS THAT HANNAH DODD? ! #strictly"
One enthusiastic fan posted: "Omg was that Hannah Dodd in the audience? #strictly" While yet another remarked: "Was that Hannah Dodd in the audience? #Strictly"
Leaderboard Updates
The contest is intensifying as audiences witnessed the first 10s of the series awarded last Saturday, October 24. Anton Du Beke handed both Delta Goodrem and Tabitha Stoecker maximum scores for their routines, while the Olympian also received another 10 from Motsi Mabuse, placing her at the summit of the leaderboard last week with a total of 37, reports Wales Online.
Delta wasn't far behind, securing an overall mark of 34, after her recent absence from the programme due to injuring her rib. Nevertheless, the leaderboard is being wiped clean yet again as the 11 participants tackle fresh routines alongside their professional partners in an attempt to wow the judges.
First Performance of the Night
The opening couple to grace the dance floor were the Dogfather Graeme Hall and his professional partner Lauren Oakley, taking on a zombie-themed Samba to the track Lime in the Coconut.
Delivering her verdict, Shirley said: "You're very brave to open the show with a zombie Samba; that's all I'm going to say, so I'll give you that. Nive criteria when it comes to mixing the basic steps." Craig Revel Horwood then offered his thoughts: "I would've liked to have seen a bit more fluidity in the bounce. The footwork was a little bit sticky at times. It needs finessing. But, I have to say, every time we watch you, you come out here, and you go for it."
Ultimately, Craig awarded a score of six, Motsi a seven, Shirley a five and Anton a seven, bringing his overall tally to 25.
Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch Saturdays on BBC One from 6:30pm.
