Two Weeks in August Finale

Jessica Raine leads the cast of Two Weeks in August, a series following a group of old friends reuniting for a holiday in Greece. A stolen kiss triggers a chain reaction of infidelity, breakdowns, and escalating chaos. The final two 45-minute episodes air tonight, Saturday, June 27, on BBC One, with the complete boxset available on BBC iPlayer.

Replacement Programmes

On Saturday, July 4, at 8.30pm, The Weakest Link will take over the slot, hosted by comedian Romesh Ranganathan. Celebrity contestants include JLS star JB Gill, actress Helen Flanagan, and singer Toyah Willcox. The show runs for 45 minutes, followed by BBC News and Weather.

At 9.30pm, Match of the Day Live: Fifa World Cup 2026 will broadcast coverage of the second round-of-16 match from Philadelphia Stadium in the US. The official description recalls Lionel Messi's 1,000th career appearance and 789th career goal during Argentina's 2-1 victory over Australia in the 2022 World Cup. Julian Alvarez doubled Argentina's lead after an error by Australian goalkeeper Mathew Ryan, but the Socceroos halved the deficit when Craig Goodwin's strike deflected off Enzo Fernández. Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez made crucial saves to prevent a late equalizer. The broadcast will run for three hours, concluding at 12.30am.

Two Weeks in August is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
