Toblerone has launched a limited edition Eton Mess flavour bar, available exclusively at Heathrow Airport, with only 4,000 handcrafted bars produced and 65 sold per day, priced at £27 for a 340g bar. The release celebrates Heathrow’s 80th birthday and coincides with London’s tennis season.
New Flavour Inspired by British Dessert
The bar combines raspberries, strawberries, meringue, and shortcake pieces in white Toblerone chocolate, capturing the flavours of the classic British summer dessert. The exclusive red and pink packaging was showcased on Facebook by the account "bigdaddybsfoods," which posted photos of the display under a glass case at the airport.
Exclusivity and Price Spark Mixed Reactions
Fans expressed excitement online, with comments like "Holy moly, this is my dream" and "I'd book a holiday just for that." However, the £27 price tag drew criticism, with one user saying, "£27 you are having a laugh!!" Another noted, "Thing is I will be in holiday mode so I will probably buy it." The bar is available while stocks last, making it one of the most exclusive chocolate launches in airport shopping, according to Heathrow.
