Bash Croft Fainting Scene Cut from Traitors Edit

Sebastian 'Bash' Croft has revealed that a moment he needed medical attention during filming of The Celebrity Traitors was cut from the final edit, a decision he joked probably 'did him a favour'. The actor helped secure a Faithful victory in the second celebrity edition of the BBC game show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, which concluded on Friday, October 30.

Medical Emergency During Filming

Speaking on his podcast, The Sunday Scaries with Bash Croft, the 24-year-old described how he collapsed after a challenge. He said: "Every time I was, like, exhausted it was like, 'Right, get into this!' Ross was locked in, being a superstar and really carrying the mission. Anyway, got to the end and felt really lightheaded and fainted."

He added: "Then I was sat there, and there was the medic, giving me water, and I was eating chocolate to get my blood sugar up, and I look up, and there's like Jerry [Hall] and Richard [E Grant] looking at me like, 'You're pathetic'. This is so embarrassing."

Faithful Victory

Bash suggested fellow Faithful and EastEnders actor Ross Kemp had pushed him to his limits during a grave-digging challenge. The Heartstopper star noted that producers did him a favour by not airing the fainting moment, presuming it was because it was a "medical thing".

Bash was crowned winner alongside comedian Romesh Ranganathan after they identified the remaining Traitor, King Kenny, taking home the £83,000 prize pot to split between their chosen charities. The win capped a dramatic series that saw 21 famous faces enter the castle, with contestants eliminated through murders, banishments and round table showdowns.

Dramatic Final Episodes

The final followed an eventful penultimate episode in which Joanne McNally and Sharon Rooney left the competition before James Acaster admitted he was a Traitor, having been recruited despite originally wanting to play as a Faithful. During Friday's final, Maya Jama and King Kenny initially worked together as the remaining Traitors, but their partnership fell apart when Kenny turned against Maya at the final round table, voting to banish her and leaving her visibly stunned.
