XO, Kitty Season 3 Finale Delivers Happy Ending for Kitty and Min Ho

Netflix viewers have been binge-watching the brand new season of XO, Kitty as all eight episodes dropped today (April 2). A spin-off to the To All The Boys film series, the show follows Kitty Song Covey as she relocates to Seoul, attending the Korean Independent School of Seoul, aiming to create unforgettable memories and making significant decisions about her future.

Fans will be delighted to discover that Kitty does indeed get her happy ending with Min Ho at the conclusion of XO, Kitty Season 3. After three seasons of 'will they won't they', the fan-favourite couple finally shared a heartfelt kiss during Season 3 as they cemented their relationship, making it official. Taking to social media, numerous fans expressed their excitement as one person said: 'giving us the mooncovey kiss in ep 1 is INSANITY.' Another added: 'THE MOST PERFECT FIRST KISS I AM IN TEARS.'

The happiness was short-lived, however, as the pair appeared to split following a series of difficulties. The break up scene was said to be one of the most emotionally demanding scenes for the duo to film, with Anna Cathcart telling Tudum that they embraced one another once shooting had wrapped. She said: 'When we wrapped, we both had the longest hug, being like, "We did it. I'm so proud of you". To be this hurt and this deeply impacted was something that was new to explore for Kitty and Min Ho.'

Despite the break up and heartache, XO, Kitty Season 3 does conclude on a positive note, as Min Ho comes to the realisation that he cannot bear to be without Kitty and rushes to the airport to declare his feelings in dramatic fashion. Alongside a heartfelt apology, he lays his emotions bare as the two share an intimate moment before boarding a plane. The closing scene pays tribute to a similarly iconic moment from the Season 1 finale, when Min Ho first confessed his feelings for her.

Now, in the Season 3 finale, the two are seated in business class, hand in hand. Showrunner Valentina Garza told Netflix's Tudum: 'We just thought it would be a really fun bookend for the season, to see them finally on the same page together and embracing whatever unknown the future holds for them. It really symbolized [how] they're at the beginning of a journey.'
