Netflix's latest true crime documentary, 'Amy Bradley is Missing', has shot up the streaming charts, currently sitting in fourth place for series. The three-part series, which landed on the platform in July, has left viewers furious and frustrated.
The documentary explores the case of Amy Bradley, who vanished from a cruise ship in 1998. Alleged sightings in Curacao, Barbados, and San Francisco have led to theories that she became a victim of human trafficking. The family says they have received thousands of new leads since the documentary aired.
Viewers have taken to social media to express their anger. One fan wrote on X: 'Watching Amy Bradley is Missing makes me wanna SCREAM wym you didn't make an announcement or keep passengers from getting off the boat???' Another added: 'I watched it last night and I'm p***ed off.'
Criticism has been directed at the cruise director interviewed in the series, with one viewer calling him 'such an a**hole' for lacking compassion. However, some Google users praised the documentary as 'gripping and compelling', though others felt it relied too heavily on 'conspiracy theories' and speculation.
Despite mixed reviews, the series has sparked renewed interest in the case, with the family hopeful that the exposure may finally bring answers.
