The world's biggest Lush store is located in Liverpool city centre, and a recent visit revealed a little-known second floor that many shoppers might miss. The store itself boasts a hairwashing and styling section, a large bath bomb wall, and even a florist.
Hunting for a rare bath bomb
The author was looking for the Usahana bath bomb, a lesser-known Sanrio character. A staff member seemed confused at first but then directed the author upstairs to the second floor — an area the author never knew existed. The floor was nearly empty, but it held a larger Sanrio stand with the Usahana bath bomb and a conveyor belt filled with other Sanrio bath bombs.
Peaceful alternative to the busy ground floor
The second floor also includes a party area. Visiting on a Saturday afternoon, the author found it peaceful and less overstimulating than the ground floor. A staff member on the floor was helpful. The author bought three bath bombs, noting that Usahana items are rare in the UK. The third floor houses the spa.
The author recommends that shoppers head upstairs, especially if they can't find a product on the first floor, or just for a look around.
