Victoria Beckham has extended an olive branch to her son Brooklyn in a moving Father's Day Instagram post dedicated to her husband David. The 52-year-old fashion designer shared a photograph of the Beckham family on a previous holiday, captioning it: 'David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.'
David Beckham's Response
David Beckham also posted his own tribute, sharing photos with each of his children, including Brooklyn. He wrote: 'Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham for giving me our beautiful family.' The posts come just days after the Beckham family feud escalated.
Brooklyn's DoorDash Commercial Backlash
Brooklyn, who lives in Los Angeles with his wife Nicola Peltz, recently unveiled a DoorDash commercial in which he appeared to mock the rift with his family. In the ad, he said: 'You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um… it’s because… it’s a long story.' Fans branded the ad 'distasteful,' accusing him of 'cashing in' on his father's work.
Background of the Feud
Tensions in the Beckham family had been simmering for years, but the rift exploded into the public eye in January when Brooklyn issued a blistering, multi-page statement saying he was cutting off his family. He claimed his parents control press narratives and put 'Brand Beckham' first, and alleged that his wife Nicola had been 'disrespected' by his family. Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022. He has not made a public appearance with his parents nor acknowledged them on social media since the statement.
