Royal fans tell William to stay away from Archie and Lilibet

Prince William has been urged not to get to know Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as the young royals settle into their new life in Britain. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK last month, with Archie and Lilibet getting ready to start at their new school very soon.

The young royals, now aged seven and five, have spent very little time getting to know their royal relatives, as they were raised in California until last month. Archie was born in the UK in 2019, but moved to the US at less than a year old after his parents stepped down as working royals. Lilibet, unlike her brother, was born in 2021, one year after the family's move to America.

William's Strained Relationship with the Sussexes

Archie lived in the UK prior to their move, whereas Harry and Meghan's daughter has only visited the UK twice since her birth. King Charles is said to be welcoming the opportunity to spend more time with his two youngest grandchildren, but William is unlikely to see his niece and nephew due to the ongoing feud with Harry and Meghan.

Royal fans were asked by the Daily Express if they think William, known to be a doting father of three, should make time to get to know Harry's two children.

Fans' Verdict in Poll

A staggering 2,485 of the 2,880 people who voted between 9am on September 6 and 2.15pm on September 9 shared that he should not get to know them. Of the total number of people who voted, 290 people voted that he should, with an additional 105 people voting that they don't know what the royal should do.

Speaking of William, one fan wrote in the comment section that he should focus on protecting his wife and children, whilst another added, "Steer clear Prince William - as 'getting to know' [the Sussexes's] two kids also means being in direct contact with [Harry and Meghan]." Another added: "Why should he. The Sussexes have levied insults at both he and Catherine and William has maintained his cool approach not responding."
