Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared a tender look as they attended the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling on Saturday, amid rumours of an ongoing rift. The couple, who married in 2020, arrived at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Cirencester, alongside Beatrice's sister Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Beatrice looked elegant in a long-sleeved Emilia Wickstead midi dress featuring a floral leaf print, paired with beige heels, a cream hat, a matching handbag, and simple gold earrings. Property developer Edoardo wore a knee-length navy jacket with a light blue shirt, yellow waistcoat, and grey trousers.
The wedding was attended by the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as well as the groom's parents, the Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, his stepfather Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, and his sister Zara Tindall with her husband Mike. The bridal party included Peter's teenage daughters from his first marriage, Savannah and Isla, and Harriet's daughter Georgina.
The outing comes amid rumours of a rift between Beatrice and Edoardo, reportedly sparked by tensions over her father Andrew's association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. A source told the Daily Mail that Andrew's fall from grace caused strain, with Edoardo wanting to maintain distance from the House of York. However, friends of the couple told HELLO! exclusively that the rumours were untrue, explaining that any distance was due to work commitments and international travel, not marital difficulties.
