Queen Camilla's Secret Eyebrow Treatment Revealed by London Beautician

As Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and his wife Remi were welcomed at Windsor Castle by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the start of their state visit yesterday, observers might have noticed a subtle yet significant change in the Queen's appearance. The monarch, accompanied by the Prince and Princess of Wales, has quietly undergone a cosmetic eyebrow treatment that remained undisclosed until now.

The Eyebrow Queen's Royal Client

Suzanne Martin, a beautician based at The Lanesborough Club & Spa on Hyde Park Corner in London, has revealed that she has been providing Queen Camilla, aged 78, with a bespoke cosmetic eyebrow procedure. Martin, who describes herself as the 'Eyebrow Queen', posted a photograph of Her Majesty on her Instagram page showcasing perfectly arched and groomed eyebrows.

'Our beloved Queen Camilla, always a pleasure!' wrote Ms Martin in her social media post. 'Thank you for trusting me.' Among the comments was one from Basia Briggs, a friend of the royal family, who added: 'Smashing that your brilliance is now public! P.S. And thank you for my beautiful brows, too.'

The Couture Brow Treatment

Ms Martin, who has been discreetly working with discerning clients for over a decade, prefers not to use the term 'tattooed' for her procedure. Instead, she describes it as a 'bespoke Couture Brow treatment' that is semi-permanent. The price tag for this luxury service might cause some raised eyebrows: the two-part procedure costs £1,400, with additional top-up visits every eight to ten months priced at £800 each.

The beautician, whose clientele reportedly includes pop stars Ellie Goulding and Dua Lipa, begins with an in-depth consultation where she assesses bone structure and personal style before sketching a tailored brow template using an eyebrow pencil. Once the design receives approval from the client, she applies a local anaesthetic and begins the cosmetic tattooing process.

Using microneedles, Martin creates semi-permanent, fine, hair-like strokes with a mineral-based, hypoallergenic pigment. This technique has helped Queen Camilla achieve the appearance of fuller, darker, and more sculpted eyebrows, which were noticeably more defined during her appearance at the state banquet for the Nigerian president on Wednesday.

A Royal Approach to Beauty

'I approach brow design as a creative director approaches couture: a work of craftsmanship, uniquely tailored to each client's face, style and life,' Ms Martin explained to the Daily Mail. 'Brows are the most powerful feature of the face, enhancing natural beauty and bone structure – and they deserve a truly bespoke, considered approach.'

She added: 'My intention is simple, to make my clients look and feel beautiful. But what works today might change tomorrow, which is why I use a semi-permanent technique that can truly evolve with your life, style and preferences.'

While her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, relied primarily on skincare and makeup to maintain her appearance, Camilla has leaned toward natural, non-surgical beauty treatments. For nearly two decades, she has been a devoted client of British beauty guru Deborah Mitchell, who created the 'bee sting facial' that uses bee venom as a natural tightening alternative to Botox, costing up to £120 per treatment.

Royal Beauty Secrets

'When I first met the Queen, I couldn't even tell my Mum,' said Ms Mitchell, whose Heaven and Beauty range received one of seven royal warrants from Camilla in 2024. 'I would go off to Clarence House and all these other places in secret. She thought it was just another celebrity, nobody knew, and I couldn't say a word.'

Regarding the Queen's skincare regimen, Mitchell added: 'I can do a treatment, and so many weeks later, I'll go back and just go, 'Wow,' because she really looks after her skin. I honestly think she is going back in time.'

The revelation of Queen Camilla's eyebrow treatment comes as she continues to establish her own approach to royal beauty, combining traditional elegance with modern cosmetic techniques while maintaining her commitment to natural treatments where possible.
