Princess Catherine has revealed that sewing and knitting are among her passions, a wholesome hobby many can relate to. During a visit to the family-run jeans factory Hiut Denim in Cardigan, Wales, she surprised staff with her skills by helping to finish a pair of jeans for her husband, Prince William.

She said: “I love making things, so I think I would really enjoy making denim.” She also shared what she had made before, adding: “The most adventurous I got was making a pair of pyjamas, and I don’t know where they have gone now.”
This is not the only time she has spoken about her enjoyment of sewing and knitting. In 2020, she visited Bradford and told volunteers that she had been determined to learn to knit when her son Prince George was a baby, reports Reader's Digest.
Knitting Attempts and Cold Water Swimming
She said it is an “amazing skill” to have and that she had “tried to knit him a very special jumper, but I got halfway down, and it just splattered.”
Princess Catherine also enjoys cold water swimming, a sport that has become a trend in recent years. Reader’s Digest says she is obsessed with cold-water swimming and “swears by” cold plunging. She was reportedly encouraged by her parents to spend time in nature from a young age.
“The colder, the better. I absolutely love it - slightly to the point where William’s saying, ‘You’re crazy,’ and it’s dark, and it’s raining,” she told Mike Tindall on an episode of his podcast, The Good, the Bad and the Rugby. “I will go and seek out cold water.”
Prince William's Football Passion
While Princess Catherine enjoys cold-water swimming, Prince William much prefers other sports. He has opened up about one of his favourite ways to relax, admitting that as his children grow up, he is enjoying sharing his passion for football with them. Prince William is a devoted fan of Aston Villa and revealed it has been a joy to bring his children to matches with him as they have grown.
