The Princess of Wales is set to host her cherished annual Christmas carol service next month, with a heartfelt theme of love and community spirit at its core.
A Celebration of Community Spirit
Princess Kate's 'Together At Christmas' carol service will be held at the iconic Westminster Abbey on Friday, 5 December. The event aims to recognise and give thanks to the many individuals across the United Kingdom who demonstrate exceptional love and dedication within their communities.
Guests attending the special occasion have been nominated by lord-lieutenants from across the nation, as well as by charities that have close connections with members of the Royal Family.
Star-Studded Readings and National Broadcast
Adding to the ceremony's prestige, a roster of acclaimed actors will deliver readings during the service. The confirmed participants include Hannah Waddingham, Kate Winslet, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be broadcast to the nation. ITV1 and ITVX will air the event on Christmas Eve, allowing families across the UK to share in the festive celebration from their homes.
Nationwide Festive Celebrations
In a move that extends the festive cheer beyond London, a further 15 community carol services are also scheduled to take place in various locations throughout the United Kingdom, echoing the Abbey's message of togetherness.
