Princess Kate Wows BBC Viewers at Trooping the Colour

BBC viewers tuned in to watch Trooping the Colour this morning as the beloved annual celebration returned once again to honour King Charles III's birthday with a magnificent procession through the nation's capital.

Royal Procession Captivates Audiences

Members of the Royal Family made their way along the route in horse-drawn carriages, with the King riding at the centre of a Sovereign's Escort and Household Cavalry.

As the procession commenced, BBC viewers found their gaze drawn to Princess Catherine, who shared a carriage with her three children, Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis.

Princess Catherine's Stunning Ensemble

The 44-year-old Princess of Wales cut a breathtaking figure in a pale blue dress adorned with white piping and an eye-catching statement hat. Her brunette hair was swept up into an elegant bun, complemented by delicate pearly floral burst earrings.

Flocking to social media to share their admiration, one viewer wrote: "HRH The Princess of Wales looks divine." Another gushed: "I can never get enough of this beauty. Wow. I'm stunned." A third commented: "We already have Kate Middleton and her children. As always, stunning at the #TroopingtheColour."

A fourth user wrote: "Catherine is the Lioness of Windsor," while a fifth observed: "Our Princess Catherine in pale blue. Stunning." Another added: "Princess Catherine is looking very regal and beautiful at Trooping The Colour."

Comparison to Princess Diana

Several eagle-eyed viewers also noted a remarkable similarity between her ensemble and the outfit Princess Diana wore back in 1987. During the ceremony, the King will escort his guards back along The Mall to Buckingham Palace, while a 41-gun salute will sound across Green Park.

The Royal Family will then assemble on the Buckingham Palace balcony to acknowledge the assembled crowds beneath and observe a Royal Air Force flypast overhead. Trooping the Colour is available to view on BBC iPlayer.
