Princess Charlotte once gave a sassy response to a royal aide who tried to help her, showing her confidence from a young age. The incident took place in 2019 when she was just four years old during a Christmas Day walkabout at the Sandringham Estate.
Charlotte keeps her bouquet
A royal aide offered to hold a bouquet of white roses that Charlotte had been given by a member of the public. However, Charlotte did not want any help and kept hold of the flowers herself.
When the aide was seen offering to carry the flowers, Charlotte could be seen holding them tightly and shaking her head, making her feelings very well-known.
Other sassy moments
This is not the only time Charlotte's sassy side appeared when she was younger. Another occasion was at the christening of her younger brother Prince Louis, when Charlotte issued a clear comment to photographers.
As the family walked past the waiting media, Charlotte said to the photographers: "You're not coming". She was just three years old at the time, making the blunt comment even more amusing.
Royal expert on Charlotte's confidence
Speaking about Charlotte's confidence several years ago, royal expert Katie Nicholl told The Mirror: "Charlotte is the most buoyant and outgoing of the three children. It's that strength of character that will stand her in good stead when she's older."
It is also a well-known fact that the young princess, now 11, seems to be the most confident out of William and Catherine's three children. She is often seen keeping her brothers George, 13, and Louis, eight, in check, which includes reminding them of royal protocol at events. This includes reminding Louis to stand with his hands by his side during the national anthem.
