Princess Charlotte's Rare Cheeky Moments Revealed as She Turns 11

Princess Charlotte, who turns 11 on 2 May, is known for her composed and polite public demeanour, but her father Prince William has revealed she can be just as cheeky as her older brother Prince George. In a rare admission, William joked that both children are 'very cheeky'. Despite her usually serious behaviour, the young royal has had a few moments of mischief captured on camera.

At age three, while attending her uncle Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle, Charlotte was spotted poking her tongue out in the back of the car after fulfilling her bridesmaid duties. During a sailing regatta in Cowes, she pulled faces at her grandfather Michael Middleton, making her mother Kate giggle.

In 2022, at the Duke of Edinburgh's memorial service, the six-year-old was caught off-guard when she saw herself on television and quickly pulled a face. Later that year, at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, she expressed frustration by scrunching her eyes and pulling her pigtails.

At the 2024 Wimbledon men's final, Charlotte stole the show by resting her hand on her chin and drawing attention to her sunglasses. During a church service in Sandringham, she stopped to pose for selfies with well-wishers, prompting her father to usher her on. She cheekily replied, 'I'm coming,' before catching up.
