Strictly's Neil Jones 'furious' as fans question reaction

Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones was seen looking furious as Carlos Gu and Jaime Winstone finished their dance on Saturday night's live show. The couple performed first, delivering a foxtrot to Man I Need by Olivia Dean, with Jaime wearing an embroidered pink dress and Carlos in a matching suit.

As the pair embraced after their routine, the camera cut to the balcony, where Neil appeared "disgusted," according to confused viewers. Fans quickly took to social media to question his reaction.

Fans question Neil's reaction

One viewer wrote: "I'd check if Neil's armed. He's fizzing." Another asked: "Sorry, Neil, have you got a problem with Jaime Winstone's dance pal?" A third mused: "Why did Neil look disgusted?" while a fourth added: "Had a face like a slapped a**e."

The timing is emotional for Neil, who lost his father around this time last year. Earlier this week, he returned to social media to mark the anniversary, sharing a picture of them sharing a pint together. He told followers: "It's been a year, and I know you'll be having a pint, smiling and looking down on us all [heart emoji]." He captioned the post: "Thinking of you [heart emoji]."

Judges' marks disappoint viewers

Meanwhile, viewers were also unhappy with the judges' scores for Jaime and Carlos. The couple received 25 out of 40, with every judge giving a six except Anton du Beke, who awarded a seven.

The pair appeared accepting of their marks, but fans rushed to defend them. One said: "I’m no dance professional but surely Jaime & Carlos was undermarked there?!" Another agreed: "I HATE that the first couple to perform is always underscored, Jaime did such a difficult routine and deserves more than 6s especially since they noted her improvement!!" A third added: "Not great from Jaime but the 6s feel unfair."
