The Prince and Princess of Wales have released a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her 11th birthday. The image, taken by Matt Porteous during the family's Easter break in Cornwall, shows the young royal smiling while walking through a field of daisies, wearing a black and red striped jumper and blue denim jeans.
The portrait was shared on the Kensington Palace Instagram and X accounts with the message: 'Wishing Charlotte a very happy 11th birthday!' This follows a social media post on Friday celebrating the first birthday of the family's second dog, a brown spaniel named Otto.
The snapshot of Otto, also taken by Mr Porteous in Cornwall, shows the dog looking at the camera and was accompanied by the caption: 'Welcome to the family, Otto! 1 today.' Otto is from a litter of puppies born to the family's first dog, Orla, whom they have had since 2020.
Earlier this week, William and Kate shared a holiday snapshot of their family, including Charlotte, her brothers Prince George and Prince Louis, and their two dogs Orla and Otto, to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. The image, also taken by Mr Porteous in Cornwall, shows the couple lying together in the grass in the sunshine.
