The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photograph of Prince Louis, now eight, taken when he was one year old, to mark Halloween, and royal fans were stunned by his resemblance to his older brother, Prince George, now 13.
The image, taken by his mother, Princess Catherine, showed the young prince touching a pumpkin with a big smile on his face. The caption read: “Happy Halloween! Prince Louis, aged 1, photographed by The Princess of Wales.”
Fans Notice Striking Resemblance
The photograph sent royal fans into a frenzy, with many reflecting on how quickly the young prince has grown. It also left many fans stunned, as they all noticed one thing about the picture: how much Prince Louis looked like his older brother, Prince George, when he was a similar age.
One royal fan wrote on X: “Oh my goodness, I could have sworn that was Prince George! What a lovely surprise. Happy Halloween!”
Another said: “I sincerely thought that was Prince George!!” Someone else wrote: “OMG I thought that was George! Happy Halloween!” Another fan commented: “Looks so much like George.”
Family Halloween Traditions
It is not known how the family marked Halloween this year, but in the past they have been known to enjoy very ordinary Halloween outings. When the three children were younger, and the family lived at Kensington Palace, they were once spotted trick-or-treating around the neighbourhood.
The family were seen at the gates of a home on CCTV, with George, Charlotte and Louis all dressed up for the occasion. Another time, it was reported that Catherine was seen at a supermarket with her eldest, George and Charlotte, looking for Halloween costumes, accompanied by discreet security for the visit.
