Prince Harry's recent UK visit included a moment that revealed his true character, according to body language expert Darren Stanton. Speaking to Betfair Casino, Stanton analyzed Harry's interaction with TV presenter Alison Hammond during a surprise live interview at the Invictus Games 2027 countdown event in Birmingham.
Harry's Genuine Connection with Alison Hammond
Stanton noted that Harry's response to Hammond's jokes, including an invitation to dinner, showed his authenticity. "Even when Alison jokes about Harry coming round for dinner, he takes it completely in good humour," Stanton said. "I think that reinforces what I mentioned earlier about Harry having one of the same strengths his mum had - the ability to talk to absolutely anybody, at any level, while remaining truthful, authentic, and genuine."
The expert emphasized that Harry's demeanor was not an act. "It's not an act, it's not bravado, and he's not trying to project an image. He's genuinely grounded and happy to talk to anybody, and that comes across very clearly - it is just like his mother used to be."
Harry's UK Engagements
The Duke of Sussex spent nearly a week in the UK earlier this month, balancing public charitable events with private family time. The Invictus Games 2027 countdown, held in Birmingham, marked one year until the games. Harry also reunited with King Charles, and his wife Meghan Markle and their children joined him later in the week. The family visited Althorp House, home of Harry's uncle, the Earl Charles Spencer, where Princess Diana is laid to rest.
Stanton's analysis highlights Harry's ability to connect with people from all walks of life, a trait he shares with his late mother. The expert concluded that Harry's interaction with Hammond demonstrated his genuine nature, free from pretense or ego.
