Nicki Minaj has revived her British accent and set her sights on Prince Harry ahead of King Charles III's coronation next month. The rapper, known for her love of all things British, previously declared her affection for former Prime Minister Boris Johnson in 2021.
In a series of tweets, Minaj, 40, offered to keep Prince Harry company at the May 6 event, noting that there was a seat open next to him. She joked about meeting him on a jet and referenced Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. A fan then requested a voice note, which Minaj delivered in a faux British accent, discussing landing strips and the Barbz fanbase.
Fans were entertained by the voice note, with one calling Minaj 'our British queen' and another praising her accent as one of the best from an American. The timing coincides with the release of her new single 'Princess Diana', named after Harry's late mother.
Prince Harry is set to attend the coronation without his wife Meghan Markle and their children. Minaj is married to Kenneth Petty, while Harry wed Meghan in 2018.
