Dr Jack Mosley, son of the late Dr Michael Mosley, has paid an emotional tribute to his father on his wedding day, two years after the TV doctor's death. Jack married his partner in a ceremony that included a special tribute to his father, leaving fans in tears.
A Special Seat for Dad
Sharing a selection of images from the day on social media, Jack showed moments from the celebration, including dancing with his bride, enjoying dessert, and spending time with guests. The caption read: "Best day, marrying my favourite person. Thanks to @tashbustaphotography for capturing the day. Thanks to the team @thepennestate and everyone else involved in making the day so special."
However, it was one particular image in the carousel that moved fans. A snap revealed a reserved seat for Dr Michael with a white cover that read: "In loving memory of Michael Mosley. Father of the Groom. Though you are not here in person, your love and spirit surround us today. We carry you in our hearts as we begin this new chapter. This day is for you, too. Always remembered, always loved." A small chalkboard tag hung over the chair with the handwritten name 'Mike'.

Remembering Dr Michael Mosley
Dr Michael Mosley went missing on the Greek island of Symi in June 2024. He was on holiday with his wife and friends when he decided to embark on a two-mile walk to a neighbouring town. When he failed to return to their hotel, a frantic search ensued. Heartbreakingly, it was too late. The TV presenter's body was discovered four days later on a rocky stretch of terrain near a private resort called Agia Marina.
An inquest found that Michael's cause of death was "unascertainable", but that it was likely down to "either to heat stroke or non-identified pathological cause." The tragedy was a huge shock to those in the UK, with Michael hailed for his medical advice and credited for popularising the 5:2 diet and the Fast 800, both forms of intermittent fasting.
