Meghan Markle reportedly snapped at Prince William during a tense meeting in 2018, telling him to 'get your finger out of my face', according to a new book by royal author Tom Bower.
The alleged incident occurred at a 'reconciliation' meeting between the couples in William and Kate's Kensington Palace apartment, shortly after the Sussexes returned from their honeymoon in June 2018.
Bower's book, titled 'Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family', claims the conversation escalated quickly, with Meghan losing her temper at William's gesture.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dismissed the book, saying Bower's commentary 'has long crossed the line from criticism into fixation' and that those seeking 'deranged conspiracy and melodrama' would find it in his work.
The book also details earlier tensions between Meghan and Kate, including a remark about 'baby brain' that reportedly upset the Princess of Wales, as previously documented in Prince Harry's memoir 'Spare'.
