Meghan shares rare clip of Lilibet's American accent in video

Meghan Markle has shared a rare snippet of Lilibet's voice as part of an advertisement for her brand's holiday collection, revealing the Princess' American accent. The Duchess posted the clip on Instagram on Tuesday, October 6, featuring her 5-year-old daughter making one of the signature products, fruit spreads.

Video shows Lilibet helping with fruit spreads

The video shows Meghan stirring a pot on the stove, as Lilibet has her own bowl and spoon to her side. Meghan asks: "What do you think, Lili?" Lilibet then replies after having a taste: "I think it's beautiful."

The post also includes throwback pictures to Meghan's childhood and never-before-seen images linking to her brand. It comes just before As Ever released the first part of its 2026 holiday collection.

Meghan reflects on entrepreneurial spirit

The caption of the post reads: "When I was about eight years old, I started my own business making handmade scrunchies I sewed on my grandmother's Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece."

"I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there," she added.

"As I shared years ago on The Tig (PS, love you ladies @thetiglets): 'Behind every successful woman is herself' — and that's true… but there's more: a community of love, a squad of support, an amazing team."

Holiday collection details

The video also features clips of the As Ever fruit spread being packaged and Meghan making cookies. One clip even features Prince Harry as he stands over Meghan whilst she opens a box.

The Duchess shared a first look at her brand's Christmas collection last week, teaming up with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartés on a limited-edition Advent calendar inspired by the couple's Montecito home. The calendar is designed to look like the front of the house, adorned with decorations for the festive season.

The holiday collection also includes a playing card set, a trio of Compartés chocolate bars, a chocolate-covered fruit box and baskets of assorted fruit spreads.

The launch comes after reports Harry was urging Meghan to 'get a job' following the pair's return to the UK. Since the couple's relocation, the Duke has been flitting between charity red carpet events and delivering speeches in both the UK and US, while Meghan has been "taking a backseat".
