Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returned to the UK at the end of August after six years in the US. The Sussexes have decided to call the Cotswolds home, moving there with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Cotswolds are popular with A-listers for the privacy their rural location offers. Meghan and Harry have kept a low profile since returning, but there have been a few reports of places they have visited in their first month.
The Falkland Arms in Great Tew
One place the couple have been spotted was at The Falkland Arms in Great Tew. The couple were photographed enjoying lunch at the cosy pub.
Meghan and her close friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, were nestled in a cosy nook of the pub where the former Suits actress cuddled up to Kelly's baby son, Jack, who was born in March, reports Hello! Magazine.
The Three Horseshoes in Asthall
And this is not the only local watering hole the Sussexes have tried since making their return. Meghan was spotted at The Three Horseshoes pub in Asthall.
The Duchess visited the pub to catch up with her new neighbour, and former US chat show host Ellen, and her wife, Portia Di Rossi.
Soho Farmhouse
The Duchess also paid a visit to the popular members-only club, Soho Farmhouse. The exclusive location is also in Oxfordshire, and Meghan made an early morning visit, slipping in just before 9am, reports say.
Although her arrival did not go unnoticed, as staff allegedly made considerable “fanfare”, fueling speculation that Meghan may become a regular at the retreat.
Prince Harry and Meghan met in 2016 and married two years later in 2018. By 2020, the couple decided to step down from their royal roles. The pair lived in Montecito, California, until moving back to the UK in August for what is being called an “extended” period.
It is understood that the King welcomes the opportunity to see his family more, including his two grandchildren. The King was reunited with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in July for the first time since 2022.
