Meghan Markle has revealed her favorite piece of life advice in a new video, responding to critics with a four-word remark about 'really hard days'.
What did Meghan say?
In a video by Tasty, Meghan appeared alongside Cookie Queens director Alysa Nahmias and three Girl Scouts – Niki, Shannon-Elizabeth and Olive – to create the best Girl Scout Cookie. When asked what she was told as a child that still guides her today, Meghan recalled a saying from one of her teachers: 'Keep a good heart.'
She explained, 'I just think it’s one of those simple things you can always remember no matter what situation you’re in. Just go, ‘Keep a good heart.’'
Cookie preferences and husband's advice
Meghan also shared her favorite cookie, admitting she loves a classic Thin Mint but added, 'But I like shortbread. I like to dip them in jam.' When a girl noted she'd never heard of that, Meghan suggested, 'Or sandwich them together with jam in between.'
At a Q&A in Los Angeles, Meghan was asked how she motivates herself during tough moments. She referenced her husband Prince Harry, saying, 'He was a helicopter pilot in the British Army for 10 years. And sometimes on really hard days, he said, ‘Hey, but my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening above the storm, the sun’s always shining.’'
