A source told New Idea that Queen Camilla had been "very clear" about the no social media rule for the July trip, but feels she has been "ignored," prompting her to "shut the door" on the duchess indefinitely. "Camilla's words appear to have fallen on deaf ears," the source said. "She feels that she was clear about no social media posts, and if Meghan thinks Althorp was an exception, she was very wrong."
Royal Relations at Stake
The move highlights the stark difference in how Meghan and Harry view reconciliation compared to King Charles and Queen Camilla. For the King, lowkey, intimate visits from his grandchildren would be ideal, allowing him to spend time with family away from media attention. The Sussexes' approach, however, seems to prioritize visibility.
