Lisa Hogan, Jeremy Clarkson's partner of nearly 10 years, has opened up about the biggest misconception about the TV presenter, his health, and her own fitness routine.
Misconceptions about Jeremy
In a recent interview with Lucas Stewart on YouTube, Hogan was asked what the biggest misconception about Jeremy was. She responded: "He’s still a bit of a t*** isn’t he? He just likes to talk about his day. He likes to talk things through and he talks so wonderful. His thought process is so interesting. I just sit and listen. I can just bask in his conversation so I can just be really lazy at night."
Health battle and support
Jeremy's diagnosis of prostate cancer has drawn public interest. While he is now in remission, his diagnosis has encouraged more men to get checked. Following the support he received, Hogan took to Instagram to thank fans, saying: "Thank you for all the support today. @prostatecanceruk."
Fitness through farm work
Hogan also revealed she has "given up the gym" and stays fit through work on Diddly Squat Farm. She explained: "We spent a day picking elderflower from the hedgerows, we're always foraging: I've given up the gym now, being on the farm keeps me fit."
Her approach aligns with Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT), which involves burning energy through everyday activities like walking, gardening, or playing with pets. A study in The Lancet found that an extra five minutes of exercise per day can reduce the risk of health issues and one in ten premature deaths.
