King Charles and Queen Camilla attended a Sunday church service at Crathie Kirk during their summer break at Balmoral Castle. The royal couple were joined by Prime Minister Keir Starmer and his wife, Lady Victoria Starmer, as well as actress Dame Joanna Lumley and Baroness Helena Kennedy.
The Queen wore a chic autumnal ensemble consisting of an army green beret, a matching jacket lined with tartan, and a matching skirt, paired with a grey top-handle handbag. King Charles donned a kilt for the occasion. The service was led by the Right Revd Rosie Frew, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
Prayers were said for the Duchess of Kent and to mark the third anniversary of the King's Accession, with elements of dress reflecting the period of royal mourning. The Prime Minister, dressed in a classic suit, and his wife in a vivid red number, joined the congregation.
The Sunday service followed a day of rugby events attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales. The Princess watched England play Australia in the Women's Rugby World Cup, while Prince William watched Wales against Fiji.
