Keely Hodgkinson took a break from the track to attend her close friend's wedding, swapping her spikes for heels as she served as a bridesmaid.
The 24-year-old Team GB star wore a figure-hugging brown dress while acting as bridesmaid for her best mate Robyn Davies. In one photo shared on her Instagram story, Hodgkinson showed off her physique while holding a bouquet of white flowers. Another picture showed her posing with the bride, captioned: "My bestie got married today!" She also shared a black-and-white image of Robyn from behind.

Hodgkinson shared more loved-up snaps from the day, writing: "So special watching your best friend get married!! So grateful to have you both in my life and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together."
She also posted a video on TikTok, where fans flooded the comments with compliments. One wrote: "Looks an amazing setting and you both look great have fun go gals." Another said: "Besties in front of and behind the camera." Hodgkinson herself added: "Most Gawjus bride everrrrr."
Upcoming race
The wedding comes after a disappointing European Championships for the 800m runner, who missed out on gold to Audrey Werro. The pair are set for a rematch at the Weltklasse Zürich Diamond League meeting on August 27.
Hodgkinson told the BBC: "I signed myself up for Zurich because I knew everyone was in it but me. I want to be in with the best, and I think that's going to bring out the best in me. There's no point in me going to a race and time-trialling at the front. The more fun is when you've got everyone together, everyone's going at it, and you don't know which way it's going to go."
