Kate Brings George and Charlotte to Wimbledon Final

Kate Middleton brought Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the Wimbledon men's singles final on Sunday, where the royal children were seen using sunhats and electric fans to stay cool in the 29-degree heat. The siblings sat in the royal box alongside their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, for the championship match between Italy's Jannik Sinner and Germany's Alexander Zverev.

Royal Children in High Spirits

Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 9, appeared at ease in the royal box, with Charlotte wearing an elegant blue dress and George dressed in a suit despite the warm weather. At one point, the siblings laughed among themselves as they ran out of the royal box to collect sunhats to shade themselves from the sun. Their younger brother Prince Louis, 8, was absent from the event.

While Prince William remained composed in the summer heat, Kate, George, and Charlotte made use of a portable fan and woven hats. The family had prime seats as they watched Sinner clinch victory in the men's singles final, winning his second consecutive Wimbledon title.

Special Interaction with Tennis Player

Before the match, the Prince and Princess of Wales congratulated British tennis player Arthur Fery on his run to the semi-finals, which ended on Friday, and wished him a happy birthday as he turned 24. Kate handed Fery a birthday card, saying: "This is for you, happy birthday." The princess then introduced Fery to George and Charlotte, who both shook his hand.

During their conversation, Fery told Kate that he had not played on Centre Court before the tournament, describing the experience as "really special." He could be overheard telling Kate "I hear your children play tennis," before inviting them to "hit some balls."

Other Royal Guests and Celebrities

Other members of the royal family attending the event included Lord Frederick Windsor, his wife Sophie Winkleman, and Lady Gabriella Kingston. They joined celebrities such as Australian actress Nicole Kidman, American actor Rami Malek, British singer Raye, and former world number one tennis player Stan Smith.

Last year, Kate presented the trophy to Sinner, who became the first Italian to win a Wimbledon singles title, after giving the runner-up prize to Carlos Alcaraz. The royal family's presence at Wimbledon continues a long-standing tradition of supporting the tournament.
